I opened my eyes today, and before I could shield them to the sunlight creeping through my window, my first thought was you.

I quickly closed them again so I could picture you lying next to me.

It’s amazing how I can feel so at ease with only a thought of you.

You became a part of me, and I of you. You complete me.

I can’t help but look past today, because I can’t wait to spend tomorrow in your arms, kissing you, touching you, loving you.

I know we’ll have forever, but forever isn’t enough.
